Home to the second BFT that has been established in Magpet, Brgy.Pangao-an is located at the Northeastern portion of the Municipality of Magpet, North Cotabato and  is fourteen (14) kilometers away from the City of Kidapawan.  Although it is accessible by land, the poor road condition renders it difficult to reach.  The most common means of transport is a motorcycle bike.

The Municipality of Manito is a fourth class, coastal municipality located in the southeastern tip of Albay province. Except for the eastern and southern portion, the Municipality is surrounded by waters. In the west and northwest of the Municipality lies Polangui Bay while Albay Gulf lies in the north and northeast of Manito. To the east and south of Manito lies Sorsogon province.  Pocdol Mountains, also known as Bacon-Manito Volcanic Complex, separates Manito from Sorsogon province.

The Municipality covers an area of 10,470 hectares and ranked 14th place in terms of area among the 18 municipalities of Albay.  It can be reached within two hours by land transport, passing through rugged terrains and sloping mountains, from the provincial capital of Legaspi City.  A mountain pass through Pocdol Mountain from Barangay Nagotgot also connects the town to Sorsogon City. As of 2010 NSCB census, Manito ranked 17th among the municipalities of Albay with 22,819 population.
